With the same records from three years ago, Benka Pulko received additional special recognition in the most read book of all, The Guinness Book of World Records. Guinness Publishing, annually producing the famous book of records, is extremely selective when choosing the candidates for every edition of the book.

Each year they receive approximately 65,000 inquiries from around the world from people who set or broke records. However, they only publish around 4,000 records in the book each year.

When Benka's photo appears on the inside back cover of the newest eddition for 2006 it is apparent that Pulko's journey continues to inspire millions of readers and enthusiasts around the globe. Proving that her record setting journey is still alive and popular as it was at the time of Pulko's travels around the world (1997 - 2002).
