On January 7, 1997 while lying in bed staring at the ceiling, an idea was born: "I'm going to ride a motorcycle around the world." One interesting detail worth mentioning here: I’d never traveled by motorcycle before. As a matter of fact, I didn't even know how to ride one. But those were minor details. None of that was going to stop me.

Five months later I rode off for two years, returning after five and a half. During that time I logged over 111,000 miles, experienced 75 countries, all seven continents, and earned my way into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Born and raised in Ptuj, Slovenia’s oldest settlement, I studied biology, and hold degrees in nursing and massage therapy. For the last decade I've been working as a journalist, photographer, and writer, my work appearing in numerous international publications. Besides motorcycling, I’m active in sailing, skiing, dancing, golfing, tennis, scuba, and skydiving.

I enjoy meeting challenges others only dream of, targets some swear can’t be reached. My story serves as an example that anyone with a steely determination and a healthy work ethic can achieve the goals they set for themselves.
